In 1760 Pierre Lorillard established first tobacco country in the world , and in US that began development of ciggartes, cigar in the world. Tobacco was the native American crop and prize possession that they gifted to Columbus in 1492. From then Europe saw it as a prize possession and as cash crop thus they spread it all around the world. Via their colonies. 

Portuguese first introduced tobacco in India in 1605. It's farming began in parts of Gujarat such as Kalra, etc part. From there it reached throughout India. First cigarette brand in India came in 1910 which was Navy cut while it's factory was established or tobacco factory in 1912 in Banglore. From there many types of tobacco farming began which lead to opium war, controlling of China's market and economy by British. 

So Tobacco has deep roots in the country and in India with independence it got more deeper like corruption in the system. Andhra Pradesh is the leading producer of tobacco while Tripura had largest consumption of tobacco in India. 

So in order to make people and India tobacco free one has to make them aware of the danger , realisation, motivation that they could and they shall will be able to do it. People has to go after them like a child and with lot of patience, love they would be able to throw cigarette away but only if they desired. That's why psychological session, mental assertion session are necessary to change the mindset , making them aware of grave reality that awaits them.  Sharing and telling of horror truth of lost and remains of tobacco users and how badly death decapitates them alive before killing. A slow painful swallow by death that only accept after body becomes natural and tobacco free.
